As they say, 'one picture is worth a thousand words. So here are some example screen shots (with brief explanations) from SAFE Standard Edition 2.5.
Main Menu
This is the main screen from which you run SAFE.
Notice the tool bar at the top (just below the menu) which provides one
button access to the most commonly used functions. At the right are the calendar,
dialer, stopwatch and calculator utilities. At the bottom of the screen is the status bar,
which reminds you of the system date, time and also the status of our print-preview
function for all reports and forms.

Browsing Customers
All of the 'action' in SAFE occurs in browse
windows. Browse windows contain lists of records which you select and then do something
to. This screen lets you see your customers at a glance and then instantly jump to the one
you want to edit. If you need to review a customer's orders, linked contacts, payment
history, or item history, simply press the appropriate button at the top of the window.
Many operations, such as printing statements, summary bills, and
labels, can also be done here on selected records which you can tag to
indicate your choices.

Browsing Sales Orders
This screen holds all sales orders. Note the large
number of tabs at the top of the window. Each tab lets you view and search for orders in a
different way. For example, the Open Orders tab lets you view only
unshipped items, while the Open Invoices tab lets you see only unpaid
items.
The Query tab is especially powerful: it lets you select which records will appear on the browse and in which order they will appear.from which you run SAFE. This can be an invaluable for analyzing sales data.
The Payments tab lets you instantly review (and
apply) payments for a particular order (partial payments are fully supported, of course.)

Entering a Line Item on a Sales Order
This screen is used to enter the details on each
sales order. Each sales order may contain as many of these line items as you like,
allowing you to mix and match products of all types and vendors on the same sales order!
Note the Warning Notes at the lower righthand of
the screen! these let operators see as they enter the order any special
instructions you may wish to provide for them on handling this type of product. It may
seem like a small thing, but it can be a real lifesaver and is characteristic of SAFE's
attention to detail.

Master Spec Screen for Continuous/Unit Set
Forms
This is the main screen for entering the specs for a
continuous form or unit set.
